USA Trains

USA Trains was created 22 years ago by Charles Ro, who started with a family-run business and turned it into one of the world’s biggest Large Scale Trains manufacturers. They started selling German-made trains to fill the demand for model trains.

As outdoor trains became more and more popular, Charles and his son formed a second company, USA Trains, to manufacture the American prototype, the “garden sized” train. They continued producing that prototype of the train, and their colors and paint-schemes put them on the market by having trains others didn’t offer. They consolidated the two companies and are now based in Malden, MA. They produce trains, locomotives, and tracks. Check out our inventory of USA Trains below.
